In the next five years, Tech Mahindra

In the next five years, Tech Mahindra and the Gujarat government plan to hire more than 3,000 people.

A memorandum of understanding was inked by the Gujarati government and Tech Mahindra to provide state residents with cutting-edge digital engineering services.
In the next five years, the IT services company plans to increase the number of specialists it employs in Gujarat and extend its operations there.

The Gujarat IT/ITeS Policy(2022-27) was introduced by the Gujarat government with the goal of empowering small and medium-sized businesses in the state and capitalising on technological advancements.

“The Government is committed to helping companies to increase the state’s ease of doing business (EODB).
Accordingly, the MoU with Tech Mahindra will not only assist us in enabling the same but also result in the general growth of the city, according to Gujarati Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel.

Tech Mahindra explained its role in the partnership by saying it will offer digital engineering services to help businesses navigate the challenges of digital transformation by making them more connected and agile, assisting them in developing digital products and generating new revenue streams, the company said.
